Product details
Veuve Clicquot Ross is a reflection of the Houses perpetual ability to innovate and audaciously lead the way. More than two centuries ago, ros champagnes were elaborated by coloration with a mixture made from elderberries. But this method didnt satisfy Madame Clicquot. She broke with the accepted practice and instead blended in some of her fine Bouzy reds with her classic champagne. Her talent in the art of re-creation gave us the worlds first known blended ros champagne ever in 1818! The process endures today, and Veuve Clicquot Ros continues to share this audacious, ingenious spirit with the world. The coppery champagne, the burst of red fruit aromasto achieve it, the blend is an essential element, a creative act. The Cellar Master and his team of experts select excellent quality red wines and still wines from some of the most sought-after vineyards in Champagne to find the flavors and characteristics that perfectly express the Veuve Clicquot Ros style.
