Vin Castillo San Simon Sweet Red reprezintă un vin clasic, roșu, care este și dulce, după cum îi sugerează numele „sweet red”. Acest vin mai este numit și „vinul desertului” și provine la origine din Spania, regiunea Murcia. Soiul de struguri care stă la baza obținerii acestui sortiment de vin se numește Monastrell, un soi renumit pentru vinurile dulci pe care le produce. Vin Castillo San Simon Sweet Red are o culoare închisă de cireașă coaptă, ceea ce contribuie la intensificarea profilului aromatic. La nivelul mirosului, se pot resimți note de mure, cireșe negre și căpșuni. Palatul resimte tente afumate, fine și complexe, care includ fructele menționate anterior. Finish-ul băuturii este unul lung și afumat. Fiind denumit și „vinul desertului”, acesta se asociază într-un mod foarte potrivit cu prăjiturile, tartele și celelalte tipuri de deserturi decadente. Totuși, pentru cei mai curajoși, el poate fi consumat și la felurile principale de mâncare, mai ales în cazul preparatelor mai grele și mai bogate în proteine.
